Menforsan Disinfectant Cleaner 1 L

Menforsan Disinfectant Cleaner is a concentrated cleaning and disinfecting solution designed for cleaning and disinfecting a variety of surfaces. The manufacturer particularly recommends it for homes with pets. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The product dissolves in both cold and hot water and is easy to rinse off. According to the manufacturer, its formula contains a quaternary ammonium compound as the active disinfecting ingredient, together with bio-alcohol, which helps clean surfaces and enhance their shine.

Suitable for floors, worktops, ceramic tiles and grout, sinks, bathtubs, taps, stainless steel, wooden surfaces, marble, porcelain stoneware and other compatible surfaces.

Disinfecting activity

• Virucidal activity: claimed efficacy against all enveloped viruses, including coronavirus, in accordance with EN 14476.
• Bactericidal activity: efficacy against bacteria in dirty conditions, in accordance with EN 13697.

• Yeasticidal activity: efficacy against yeasts in accordance with EN 1650.

Directions for use and dosage

Bactericidal treatment – 2.5%

Dilute 1 capful of product in 5 litres of water. If one capful measures 25 ml, this corresponds to 25 ml of product per 5 litres of water.

Deep disinfection – 5%

Dilute 2 capfuls of product in 5 litres of water. If one capful measures 25 ml, this corresponds to 50 ml of product per 5 litres of water.

Observe the contact time specified by the manufacturer. The label specifies a contact time of 5 minutes at 20°C for virucidal activity.

Precautions

Use only as directed and in accordance with the instructions on the packaging. Do not mix with other cleaning or disinfecting products. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not swallow.

Keep out of reach of children. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

Do not apply directly to animals. Keep animals away from treated surfaces until treatment has been completed in accordance with the instructions. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance on whether rinsing is required after treatment.
